Casa do Lado : Custom Made bar-stools from recycled wood

In the mountains of Minas Gerais there are many old (farm-)houses and obviously sometimes some of them are demolished.
Casa do Lado selects the wood of these houses - mostly from floors, doors and shutters - and re-uses these noble woods, such as jacaranda, cedro, canela and other types, in order to make furniture.

Casa do Lado has formed a group of carpenters who produce furniture Minas-style made of the carefully selected wood recuperated from old demolished (farm-)houses.

Bar-stools from the heart of old Brazil: the mountains of Minas Gerais, where the Portugese colonists digged gold in the sixteenth century and the most skilled painters and carpenters came to build and decorate the churches. "Rough Wood" bar-stools, sturdy with a tradition of arts and crafts through centuries.

We design interiors for hotels and restaurants.
Examples here are from the trendy and famous restaurant "De Kaai" in Antwerp.
Terrace, floor, fridge, tables, bar-stools, chairs all by Casa Do Lado.

Although the "Rough Wood" interior design is most suited for restaurants and hotels, private customers are equally welcome.
